resort reception locations?

Next month we're heading to our first planning session to look at some possible reception locations. We booked the WP for the ceremony, but we got "penciled in" at the ADH and BW ballroom since we haven't seen either place and aren't sure which feels more like "us". I thought it was nice that they offered to show us around so we can decide then before signing a contract and all that. I've heard that at ADH you don't really have to spend much on decorating since it's kinda themed already, whereas a ballroom gives you lots of options to personalize. Since decorations can get a bit pricey, I'm thinking that ADH might be more feasible.

Any opinions on either place?

I'm biased but totally vote for ADH!!! We were "penciled in" for the YC Ball room until we saw the ADH on our site visit - it really is beautiful and, to us, it seemed a little more special than a regular ballroom. As soon as we saw them it was a no contest decision.
