First off..thanks to all for a great site with great info.

We are travelling to WDW the first week of Sept for 4 nights. It is a last minute idea for my son's 4th Birthday. I have been 4 times and my wife once-so the park ins and outs we are set on. However, we normally stay with relatives.
I guess I am one that would rather spend more on "fun" stuff-like character breakfasts-than lodging.
A couple of deals I have found are at the BW or the Grosvenor.
Any thoughts on either and can I get into EE seeing as these are owned by Disney??

Thanks for the replies:jester:

Well, the Grosvenor is not owned by disney and the BW is. So, with the BW you can get into EE, also the Bw is an excellent resort with alot of shopping, dining, and there is a character breakfast at Cape May Cafe in the BC, I don't know if that interests you. Also if you want to be closer to MK you could also stay at the Poly, about $10 more a night, or the Contemporary which is about $50 cheaper a night, anyway have a good vacation.

Is BW the Boardwalk or Best Western.

Sorry-BW was meant to be Best Western BVista. Initials are kind of confusing to the new folks.
Basically looking for a value-but not to the Cheap extent. We need to be near good transport-have no rental car.

Thanks

Oh:p . Well, I'm sorry to say that both hotels don't qualify for early entry. If I had to choose I would choose the Grosvenor, the decor is beter, you MAY get a room with a view of Downtown Disney, and they host a character breakfast.

In September Im sure you could get a great rate at the All Stars, preferably Movies. Here you will be eligible for EE, have wonderful transportation, get a great value, and have so much "Disney"...especially for a 4 yo.
Wherever you choose, have a great trip.

Hey, that's right I didn't even think about that:rolleyes: . The All Stars, particularly the movies are a great way to do Disney, especially since they qualify for EE, go to mousesavers.com you could probably find a great discount for the all-stars.

Without a rental car, I'd say you just about have to stay on-site at a Disney resort to have any convenience and fun. Sure the lowest prices are high, but for the $$$, you and your 4-year old will get an immersive experience 24 hours a day. :)
