Resort Hopping

Is Disney allowing any resort hopping for the sake of holiday decorations? Saw that you may have to have a dining/resort reservation to go.

You'll be fine if arriving via WDW transportation (bus/monorail/boat). If arriving by car, expect to get turned away without a dining reservation; reports are hit-or-miss about mobile orders.

We're just back from a trip last week and I can confirm what lanejudy wrote above.

And keep in mind, holiday decorations are going to be much more limited than previous years. No gingerbread displays at any resorts this season. Only trees will be up.

Yeah, just going to have a spare day and don't really feel like spending a whole day at a park! Probably will end up at DS for most of it.
