Good morning. I booked a last-minute, short trip for my son and me. I wasn't able to get consecutive nights in one resort. I have some local friends who will be joining us. On Thursday two friends will join us. Friday we switch resorts and a different friend will be with us that night. Will I be able to book virtual queue rides for all 5 of us on Friday? Will I need to check out of resort one and check into resort two before 7 to make everyone eligible? We all have park passes for the same park for Friday.

Thanks for any insight.

There's no onsite advantage for the VQ so I don't think there should be an issue.
No onsite advantage - but if done separately we would be in the same boarding group - unless we were EXTREMELY lucky.

The resort won’t matter. People have friends in their group without having a resort reservation all the time. The system looks for whether everyone in your friends group has an Epcot reservation. As long as you can see everyone in your friends group, and they all have an Epcot reservation, then you will get the same boarding group. Even if for some strange reason you get separate boarding groups, once your group is called, they will let you in anytime. Just all go when the second group gets called.
