There is only one place to eat at the French Quarter (was Port Orleans) . There is an inexpensive large food court called Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory. Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory is a food court where Guests can dine around Mardi Gras Parade props in a warehouse setting. It is open from 6:00am - midnight (hours vary by shop).

Glad someone pays attention to that old history stuff but actually the Venetian was supposed to be on Bay lake.

I can't answer your question other than Chef Mickey's is in the Contemporary now.

mizner's is at the GF, polynesian used to have a pool diving board, at the lava rock pool. In case I'm right: question: which hotel was the first moderate resort to open?

When the CBR opened in 1988, it was billed as "affordable", since it was the first non-deluxe. Even when PO and DxL opened in '91 and '92, they weren't yet called "moderates". So the first to open under the label "moderate" would have been Coronado Springs.
