Resort ?? for a group trip

DH and I have been many times and the people we're traveling with have been a few times. In the past when we've gone down with family we've rented a house and all stayed there. This time we want to stay on-site. We are going down just after Thanksgiving, 2015. One will will be my hubby and I. Another room will be daughter, son-in-law and 2 kids (11 & 14). Other family will potentially be joining us as well, all with their own rooms. Hubby and I want a king size bed, while the daughter and son-in-law who are definitely coming need a room that holds 4 and they need it to be a value resort. They really want us at the same resort. We're leaning towards POP. Can we all get what we want there? If other family comes along as well we figure they can get their own rooms, hopefully at the same resort but they don't have to if they don't want to. It's just really important to our daughter that we hubby and I are at the same resort as her family.

I believe all of the value resorts have rooms with king beds available and rooms with 2 double beds as well.

Yes, they do have king rooms, but they won't guarantee that you will get one unless it's for accessible reasons. Otherwise it is only a request. We request them every time we stay at Pop, which has been a lot, but have only gotten them a couple of times. If you stay moderate, you can book that category and then you will be guaranteed a king room.
