Does anyone think there is a chance that when resorts re-open they will only be open to registered guests?

I love exploring resorts...but even more than that I’m totally hoping my kids and I can grab lunch or dinner from The Mara at AKL while we are at All Star Movies in September! (We’ll be together again, potjie and Zebra Domes!)

I’m wondering how that will work for QS at resorts. Will they move to QS reservations, too? We had to shift our trip (they moved up the start of a school by 2 weeks) so we had to change DVC resorts and I’m hoping we have other QS options than just Boardwalk.

I think they are going to need all of the QS for the people staying at the hotels. I don't think they will be doing reservations for QS. They do not want more uncontrolled people roaming around resorts and taking up capacity that is reserved for hotel guests. You can always do QS at the parks and Disney Springs. It's not ideal, but none of this is. There may be some other stuff that is open on the Boardwalk that is not considered part of the hotel. You may be able to hit Swan/Dolphin too.

EDIT: We are staying at BWV too and will just have to make it work. I plan to have more easy food, ie sandwiches, oatmeal, cereal, than we normally would. Plus, there always Ample Hills; you could get pints to go :rotfl2:

It will be chaos when they open up ADRs since so many people are already within the 60 day window.

I think they are going to space it out. They will let people do their park reservations based upon when you are staying, maybe a 2 week window for hotel stay starts. Then once you have your park ressie, you can do ADRs. They seem to be spacing everything else based upon hotel stay starts. Obviously, non-hotel guests/AP holders will be different, but I still think they will be limited to a certain period of time right now too. I have a stay starting 7/11. I'll you know how it goes :rotfl2:

Lol, pints to go sounds good to me but I can only imagine my kids fueled by ice cream:jumping1:

It will be the healthiest vacation yet! Pints of ice cream and pizza to go from the window. Hopefully, the to go margarita bar on the Boardwalk will open up for us adults to handle the kids :rotfl2:
