The four hotels that you can walk to Epcot from are Beach/Yacht club, Boardwalk, Swan, and Dolphin. Swan and Dolphin are a bit of a farther walk to Epcot than are the other two. For all other hotels, you'll have to drive or take a bus/monorail.

FYI from those four hotels you can also walk to DHS, though the walk is a bit farther.

No you can't. but it is a short bus or car ride. If unable to afford a deluxe CBR is a great Epcot hotel IMO.

oh, well I didn't see the post in the resort area, and this post does not specify walking distance, just close proximity. Many can't afford a deluxe and if you have a car or don't mind the bus, it's a quick ride. Just giving some options.

There are a few locations in WS that are as close to the front of Epcot as they are to a resort outside IG. Maybe someone here knows which (though I don't think Italy is one, but really can't recall)

Without actually measuring, I'd say Mexico, Norway and China. I'm sure Italy is not.

How far is it to Tutto Italia from the Beach Club buses?!?!?!?

The starting point on the map is the International Gateway entrance/exit to Epcot. The distance between Tutto Italia Ristorante and the International Gateway appears to be about 2,600 feet. That brings the total to 4,470 feet (0.85 miles) or about a 20 minute walk.

That's a good point. According to Google Maps, the distance from Italy to the Monorail station is about 4,300 feet. So, it's actually slightly less.

General Note: To get to the "Measure Distance" on Google Maps (on a standard desktop), left-click on your mouse. You can add waypoints along the map like see above. Although, it only allows a single measurement. To show the split routes, I used a graphics editor to merge two separate screenshots.

Several of our dinner reservations are scheduled at World Showcase. I'm wondering which resort is the closest to Epcot if we want to catch a bus back to MK?

Thought it might be worth mentioning that you can hop aboard the Epcot monorail to the Ticket and Transportation Center and then switch monorails to go to MK. That would (probably) be quicker than walking to Beach Club and catching a bus. And depending on where you have reservations would involve less walking as well.

I second taking the monrail to TTC and then swapping to the MK monorail. After you walk to BC or BW, you may be in for a long wait for a bus to MK. BW had the worst bus service of all the resorts I've ever stayed at.
