O.K. so We have a few DVC rooms reserved wih some split reservations. We are treating some friends to use some points to stay in a studio at two different resorts. We have went through where to stay so many times that we have changed multiple times as all the DVC's have good and bad points. Thus we changed a lot andthink we are finally decided. Question is... has checkin ever given the wrong room to peoples guest like we have booked thus giving them our room and us theirs as they are arriving and checking in before us and we have a different room catagory booked at the same resorts.

Your reservation should have the names of the guests noted on it. Check it online and if you need it corrected, e-mail Member Services.

they indeed have the correct names I was just wondering if they will pay attention to detail in this situation and if others have had any experiences?

Reservations at check-in are either pulled up through reservation number or the names of the guest in the room, I don't think your average check-in CM has any knowledge of who actually owns the points, only the names on the reservation.

I was not allowed to check-in for friends that were staying in a room I booked for them on my points, as I was not listed as an occupant of their room. So the reverse should also be true and you shouldn't have a problem.
