Resort Changers--The Saga Continues.....

Thanks everyone! DS is fine. His tooth hasn't hurt since I gave him that Advil so I just sent him to school today.

Has anyone used toning sneakers? I was thinking of buying myself a pair. The Skechers are cheap enough that even if they don't really tone me up they're still a cute shoe for working out so I may just invest in a pair. If I like them they make it to my packing list for September. ;)

Just Crocs. Nothing but Crocs :teeth:

I have a WiiFit too, but haven't been able to get it to work so it just sits in the box gathering dust. :sad1:

Glad DS's tooth is better!

YES!! I think a button too, that way we can wear it any day. Maybe all of the resort names around the mickey head and a big question mark in the middle....???? Just a thought. Not sure what color. Can't wait to see your designs.

Yes, yes! I like it!! I will work on something this weekend! Okay, just the resorts? Or DVC too?? :goodvibes

Why not all? We don't discriminate in our resort waffling. :thumbsup2

Of course!! BUT I don't have to get into categories do I??, AKL CL, GF SL, POP Preferred View LOL!!!!!

:rotfl: And now it begins, cha-cha changing of the designs :rotfl2:

I'm an early bird too, 0500, even when school is out so I can shower, take a look at the DIS:hyper:, make DH's breakfast, go to the gym and be back before DD even awakens:thumbsup2. I love my Mickey mug, too, but feel sort of down on the days he's in the dishwasher:sad1:. I should get another one. Maybe a cool 40th anniversary retro one:scratchin

I have a Mickey and a Tinkerbell so I don't get too depressed when one is out of service. :goodvibes

That's it! That should be the theme of the RC shirt - Mickey waffles! Because we're all wafflers;)

Can you picture this on a shirt, but without the butter and syrup?
mickey-waffles.jpg

PERFECT!!!! Maybe with a ? in the middle? I'm fond of the ? idea...

Hi gang!

PM me all of your August dates, and maybe your preferred meeting place and I'll compile an overlap list so we can start planning our meet! :dance3:

My preferred meeting place would be Club Cool (so I can feed my Beverly addiction, natch)

Oh my gosh the weather is terrible! Last night at work we had to basically shut down the store and lock it up because there was a tornado warning. The wind was really blowing and there was a ton of rain. We had to bring everyone, including customers, to the back of the store where we sit for tornado warnings. The skies are really dark right now and the rain has been on and off today, but it looks like another storm is coming. I may have to call into work if the weather is so bad that I can't drive in it. I'm not risking my life to go to work. I refuse to drive in stormy weather. Especially when it is pouring and having the wipers on the fastest setting doesn't do much.

Stay safe Hannah. I hate this spring with all the tornado warnings, we are suppose to get the storms you have been having here tonight :scared1:

I bought a Wii fit also and it was sitting in the box until I gave it to my daughter in law :lmao:

good intentions that is me :rotfl:

Jet Blue changed our leaving flight from 6:30am to 8am I am a bit upset now we wont get to Disney as early.

So I had to go change our lunch ressie which made me have to change the time of our dinner ressie, which then I saw Disney opened up some later lunch times in Epcot so I finally able to change our Le Cellier dinner to a lunch and my Les Chefs from a lunch to a dinner which freed up a meal credit so I changed 50's PT to Brown Derby................I was busy :rotfl:

I am safe everyone! It rained a little bit, but nothing too bad! There wasn't a storm! Unfortunately the people in the town next to mine have no power. :'( I'm lucky to have it. I was really worried that our second willow tree was going to get destroyed. We had two willow trees in our backyard and one got struck by lightning a couple of years ago causing a chunk of the tree to fall off and break the fence between us and the back door neighbors. We ended up having it torn down so now we have only one willow. Luckily our last willow tree is safe. Though, I really wanted to have two tree houses on each willow tree with a connecting bridge. :'(

Well, I changed again. Back where we started: Pirate Room at CBR. We are going Nov. 9-14. Changed a few ADRs and I like everything. Hopefully. ;)

I love the pirate rooms, wish I had a little one so I could stay there.

I love willow trees, my aunt use to have a big one that my uncle hung a swing under, it was so nice. Sorry you had to lose one. We have a large old oak in front, last storm it lost a huge branch, and DH said about having it cut down before it falls on the house :scared1:

Too bad about the willow tree Hannah, but I'm glad the other tree didn't suffer any damage in this storm, and that you are safe. :)

disneydreamin247 A friend at work did those toning sneaks and they did horrible things to one of her feet, bunion maybe...stick to comfy shoes...glad DS' tooth feels better.

WDWKOOK I love the Mickey waffle idea...

You guys are moving too fast, or I am too slow...either way it's all good..oldest DS told me he's enlisted in the Army. I am VERY happy for him. He was supposed to go into the Marines, he signed up on his 17th Bday, and a week before leaving to Parris Island, they said it was a NO GO because of a old leg fracture (which they knew about all along). He took it very hard. It's like he's all lit up again. He'll be in Boot camp when we are on vacation. It's kinda funny, because I avoided his calls all week I thought I was getting bad news, or his DGF was preggers or something...He only calls when something is wrong:rotfl: Thanks to all for letting me share the news:yay:

Glad YOU were okay... sorry about the willow.
We lost power, but only briefly (so they tell me I was at work).

I love the pirate rooms, wish I had a little one so I could stay there.

Heck! Go ahead and stay there anyway!! We all are kids at heart (especially at Disney)!

I really like this waffle idea! Clever!!!:thumbsup2

Your resort-change issues are safe here. ;) Don't worry, if you forget where you are staying, someone here will remind you.....(been there, done that....) :goodvibes
Classic

Now I've done it...my DS8 just saw pics of the pool at CSR. I thought I was concrete on POFQ but he is now begging to stay at CSR. It would be kinda neat to stay somewhere new but POFQ has been refurb. Here we go again!:yay:
No one has more fun than we do! :goodvibes

Karen: Hey I don't even know WHERE I am staying at the moment!!! (and I don't even have a ressie yet ... committement and me do not go together, but I will this week!! :rotfl:
Janet, any updates on making a committment??

Depends how much survey money I rack up by our trip. Right now I've got over $400 banked in my QR account. I LOVE free money!!! Seriously, getting paid to do surveys while I watch TV or pump at night is amazing. I don't have to worry about saving up for our spending money. :cool1:
Do tell, how do you get such a cool gig???? popcorn::

LOL @ sneaky. DH and I have discussed doing the Disney Mediterrian Cruise out of Barcelona but I have already told him either before or after we are going to DisneyLand Paris for a couple of days.
Sounds "dreamy". :cloud9: Hope it works out so you can tell us ALL about it.

So glad you enjoyed V&A! :goodvibes
BTW, I just LOVED your April Solo Trip Report. :hippie: Even though I live only 1-1/2 hours away, a DIS trip isn't a trip for me unless I stay on DIS property. No fun if I can't "RC". :goodvibes

It will seriously be two years for the boys. I might be able to sneak in a another solo trip, in fact they're kind of counting on it, but the boys need to go to other more historical places other than Disney.
Shouldn't Liberty Square count????? :rotfl2:

I have a WiiFit too, but haven't been able to get it to work so it just sits in the box gathering dust. :sad1:
Boy we all ARE alike in other ways than RCing. Mine still has the shrink wrap on it...

Great news, and plenty of time to change again. :goodvibes

I saw a report on TV about bad injuries with the toning shoes. I've never owned a pair, though.

Congratulations! So glad your son is happy. :)

Thanks for the heads up on the shoes. I'll just get a cute pair of sneakers then. Yay for DS! I'm so happy for you and for him.

Do tell, how do you get such a cool gig???? popcorn::

I use a very DIS reputable Disney rewards site. I do the daily surveys and it really adds up. If you want I can PM you the link. I've been doing it since 08 for each trip I go on. :goodvibes

Congratulations! So glad your son is happy. :)

Thank you! Our last Disney trip was originally a SC trip to pick him up after his Parris Island graduation. We turned it into a Daytona Beach/WDW/Myrtle Beach trip instead. It was our last trip with ALL the kids! We had sooooo much fun! Last year we did a resort only stay, and he was working. This is our first US/WDW trip without our Eric, but it'll be fantastic nonetheless. We will celebrate for him:goodvibes

We were posting at the same time:rotfl:I am so relieved, he really is excited. His dream has always been to serve in the military:)

And who knows...he may very well end up getting married. Not sure how you would feel about that though!

I'm good with him just living with the DGF, she's nice but a bit older (30 and he's 19). I just don't want him to rush into anything. I support him whatever he chooses, and he knows I want him to have his life in check before he becomes a dad (I had him when I was 16, so he's heard the speech since he was a baby:lmao:)

Well then I'll keep my fingers crossed for no marriage ;) DS will be getting the same speech because I had him when I was 20 :rotfl:
