Resort Changers--The Saga Continues.....

Okay, I just read something I didn't know about, there is no elevator?!! I don't know if I can handle this. We've always had an elevator. Can anyone confirm? I may be in the market for a new resort sooner than I thought. Does SSR have an elevator? This may make ALL of the difference in the world.

Saratoga Springs has elevators-at least in Congress Park.

Switched twice!

Our original Feb. reservation was at CBR - switched to WL when the AP rates came out - switched to the Polynesian when the 4/3 special came out!

Summer trip - switched from July 2-July 16 at GF to June 20-27 at GF SL and BC June 27-July 6. I got the 4/3 deal for the GF part of the trip and I'm hoping for a good AP rate or special for the BC section.

I noticed you are from Hamilton Square, NJ. Is that as in Mall? If so then we are neighbors. We're in the "English Creek" area. :wave2:

Yes SSR has elevators I would find it hard to believe that being built when they were that they built without them with codes being what they are for the ADA rules.

So yes they have Elevators...no need to take the stairs unless you want to take them!

Ladies,

I have come full circle, back to CSR:) DD11 wants to stay in the "Mexico Resort"...

So stepdisney are ya with me...CSR...POFQ...AKL...CSR:)

I jumped off the merry go round!! All in ONE week! LOL

Will not change resorts, will not change resorts, will not change resorts.....

No, Hamilton Square is in Central Jersey.

We are a suburb of Trenton - near Lawrenceville or Princeton NJ.

We switched again today.

More rooms opened up on the 7/4 offer during our time.

We switched our Feb. trip from the Poly to the GF!

Ok. Now seriously ladies. How bad would it be if I added an extra day onto my August ressie (bringing the total # of days to nine) and then booked 3 days at CR in the Garden wing and spent the last 6 days at Poly?

Bearing in mind that then I would have to use bell services for the switch since my oldest boy flat out refuses to schlep any more luggage!

I am seriously considering it, but then my DH will have a hissy fit since he doesn't want me gone from home for more than 7 days total! Also, then that puts me in a bad bargaining position with DH for a Christmas trip to FW in that nice pop up we now have....

What do you think?

I still cant figure out what I want to do!!!! I am better off when the site is down!! LOL

Hmmm, your new camper sounds like so much fun at FW!! We have a park trailer, but it stays put in a campground, so we only get to use it from May- Oct...but would love to experience FW someday!

So does it come down to 3 more days in August or another trip during Christmas?

Pretty much. There's also a bid for DVC in the works as well. Maybe if I mention that DVC would cost me so much less per trip, then DH would let me buy DVC. :goodvibes However, that means no trip to FW in the pop up either. I can't talk DH into DVC if he finds out I can camp at WDW, then I'd be stuck camping there all the time and not get to try all of those wonderful looking resorts.

As far as your dilemma, why not do what we do best! Switch and switch again until either the trip is too close or we lose our chance at the good rates! :rotfl: Seriously though, why not stay at CSR CL and try it out for the rest of us!

What is the cost to change your resort at the last minute? Like within 9 days?
