Well, don't love me too much - the deal stinks. It ends up costing more than the 4/3 offer, with no gift card. The best deal it offers is AKL Standard View for $159.00 a night. That's OK, but who wants to stay Standard at AKL? I'm renting points for a studio for a lot less than $159.00 a night!

This does work for me as I can only stay the 4 nights and I am out of DVC points!!!

Have changed twice this morning already!!! AKL Pool view is only $23 more than the std view(total)...I have been in a pool view room, and it was quite nice However, have seen some photos here on the DIS....and you can barely see it with all the foilage growing!!!!
I did make sure to get online early this morning to look for this...Mousavers nor the DIS updates had this, but thanks to SinigingLizzie's pm....I got the info

My daughter and I realized during our Thanksgiving trip that we're Disneyed out for awhile. So, I'm going to cancel out Beach Club reservation and transfer the pts to the Sandestin resort.

Thank you all for sharing, and now that I know I've so much in common... I'll offer mine...
Our first trip ever to WDW was this last Sept & gratefuly my husband fell in love too. So I booked the bounceback deal with free dining @ CSR with the new business club level & @ the time, I was very pleased with our choice.
Then the 4/3 deal arrives & it's my opportunity to sweeten the deal. Can't justify the expense for club level @ a deluxe for a week, but surely I can't pass upgrading to a deluxe & a change to April/May instead of hurricane season? So I switch to Wilderness Lodge, a deluxe lite. Now, I'm so excited about the change that I want to surprise my husband & daughter with the change until we arrive.
But, no... I'm not done. A couple of weeks later, I reason with myself, what's $400 more for a week's vacation when we can stay at the resort I really want to try - the Beach Club Resort.
So I tell myself, it's so worth it - close to 2 parks, renovated rooms (which by the pixs of seen, looks so perfect) & wow, what a nice pool they have & after all we live in CA, spend alot for airfare, our daughter's entering kindergarten & we won't be able to have this fexiblity on choosing a good deal on a trip soon. & on & on. So I finally turned to my husband for a final (did I say final} decision.
So, I'm go into to my long winded story with all the explaining & I'm reading his expression as a "this is too way much info" & waiting for him to say "when did you decide to change to an April/WL trip?". But thankfully he just says what's $60 a day when we get the trip you really want & we'll all enjoy.... Booked!!!!

yep, had this booked til I changed again! lol I am keeping the resort...except I couldnt get the room cat I wanted, and I am staying over the weekend, so I only saved on my THurs and Sun (bookends..lol)...still waiting for one more discount....hopefully..AP rates for the end of Feb/beginning of March!

Love it!!! Sounds just like me for our Aug/Sept 07 trip! We ended up at YC! After having CSR and WL booked!! LOL Watch out though, we ended up YC CL!

This is becoming ridiculous!
Originally had Contemporary Garden Wing, Garden View before discount came out.
Switched to Contemporary Tower Bay Lake View, still before discount.
Switched to Contemporary Tower Magic Kingdom View, still before discount.
Switched to Polynesian Garden View because the discount came out as there was nothing available at the Contemporary with the discount.
Today, Switched back to the Contemporary Garden Wing, Garden View with the discount!
Now I just have to keep looking if the discount becomes available in the Tower for my dates.
Maybe I'll end up back in the Theme Park view. Its like a merry-go-round!

Well, this morning I made one more step back towards my dream room!
Switched to Contemporary Tower Bay Lake View with the discount!
Availability is changing all the time. All I need is the Tower Magic Kingdom View again!
Let's see, five changes to my reservation so far? In my defense, I've always wanted the Contemporary Tower Magic Kingdom View!

Well, haven't made a change in over a month. Until yesterday when I decided to change to a Deluxe Room - Club Level room at the Beach Club and take the Dining Plan off. I had given up on a Theme Park view in the Tower at the Contemporary as it had been a solid month with no new availability there.
Then, this morning, I got online and saw that there was Tower Room, Theme Park View available at the Contemporary using the 4/3 deal. So, I switched again! I finally made it back to the room I originally booked two months ago. I'm set now. I think. Contemporary Resort, Tower Room, Theme Park View.

That's only seven changes. Is that bad?

Like a moth to a flame, I am drawn to this thread, ha ha, so just checking in. 5 weeks to go, you should be proud - I'm sticking to the club rooms at CSR, no changes!!! Of course now that that is settled, I'm focusing on my ADR's. I think I've only changed them like 20 times, and we only have 6 sit down meals I should add dining reservations to my speed dialer . I like that saying, the only thing certain in life is change!!!

I know! I'm lusting after that suite in the CR - the GV one. It has more than enough beds for three people, and boy does it look great! The Royal Asante suite does too though.... Maybe next year!

We could always aim for a suite hopping trip, now that would be a trip to remember!

I'm trying to figure out to keep the secret, but we already have our DME tags and they say "POR" on them. DME told me to cross it out and write contemporary on them. I think he might notice...

Maybe I can print off some stickers and smack them on there right before we hand the bag over? I think you have to take the bag to TSA yourself, so maybe I can make DH stay with the carry-ons and get real sneaky with it?

I don't have an answer for you, but I hope your DH likes his surprise.

So I was looking at pictures of the YC/BC and they were very tempting. Luckily they didn't have availability for the kind for our trip. I think DH would've killed me. If I had some hours to work with I could worry about my ADR's and I wouldn't have time to think about switching resorts.

So latest angst.

I will still stay at the Poly, but am thinking that maybe we stay the first part of the trip at WL in one of those CL rooms, then go to Poly for the last 5 days of the trip this August.

Just kicking this one around. I would love to stay at CR, but there are NO regular rooms left in the Garden Wing (except for the Deluxe). Plus I think that CR would just irritate me to no end. I really don't like a lot of hustle and bustle, and WL might be a better choice. The kids are just plain irritated, and they both want to go back to POR and forget about staying Deluxe.

So, WWYD?
