Resort Change

I know I have read on this board that if you are changing resorts that Disney will move your luggage for you, is this correct? I just questioned the reservations desk and they said the only way ot move your luggage is by taxi. Anyone have any experience with this?

Don't know your exact situation, but everyone I know who's moved between Disney resorts has had no trouble with Disney moving their luggage for them. When I moved from ASMusic to AKL, they moved my luggage.

Provided you are moving from one Disney resort to another. Downtown Disney resorts and Swan/Dolphin do not count.

It was for a friend who has reservations at PO for a cruise package. He wanted to add a night and got the Contempory with a military rate of $89 and I told him he should go for it and Disney will move him, but on the phone while booking they told him no. My guess is that they just don't want to make public the information and would move him once he is there. Heck I would not have know that without these great boards!
