Resort Change by Disney

To add more confused and frustration to the pot:

I finally got through to a CM about my personal reservation made with a TA rate. I now have to wait another 35 minutes for Guest Services.

But I asked her about reservations that are impacted by the closures if Disney is moving them to an equivalent resort for free or if they have to pay the difference. She said that from the information she has received that as long as they aren't making any modifications that Disney will move them at no cost. However, she has also heard from other CM's that some individuals in Guest Services are telling them different information that that guests have to pay the difference.

I told her that I have been telling people to call back until they get someone who agrees that can be moved at no cost. And she said she agrees that they should call back. I know it's frustrating to have to call yet again, I am still just not convinced.

Will update about my personal reservation as soon as it's sorted out. It's a different circumstance since I booked under a TA rate but it might help someone. Unfortunately all of my clients with impacted trips canceled already so I can't report back what they did for them.

I know I’m an hour late, but I’ve been randomly losing the music every 3-5 minutes for about 15 seconds occasionally with the startup message being repeated
I just realized after an hour the music loops back to the start. No message though.

Me too. Music was gone for quite a while but now it is intermittent.
 
Does anyone know when I can change my room only reservation (July 2021) to a vacation package?

omg, I'm finally on hold. After roughly 236 calls (yes, I counted) I finally got thru on the 407-939-5277 line. Crazy, over 3 hours of just trying to find an open line, and now I'll sit on hold for probably 2+ hours. Please please don't let me get disconnected.

I am on call 145 and still no luck...
 
Did you click the button before starting? One is for theme park guests the other, resort guests. The default is theme park guests.

And YAY for getting on hold!
I’ve tried so many different combos I forget what I clicked. 😱
 
Where is that option?? All I have is a calendar...
Wish I could get you a screen shot but I can't get back to that page! I just know that when you go to make the park reservations, the default is 'Theme Park Guests' and it will show the dates on the calendar greyed out. There should be an option to choose 'Resort Guests' to the right of 'Theme park guests' and the dates will show as green.
 
Back for me as well but still getting dwarfs message that the system is undergoing maintenance. On hold with the phone as well for 1 hour 33 minutes so far
