Resort Change by Disney

OMG!!!! got in, then it said not all my tickets were linked, went to link the tickets (even though I know I had already done that when I received them), then it says a ticket already exists with this number? Seriously???? Can;t go any further! Vacation should be this difficult??

Can anyone clarify what the cancellation policy would be for arrivals in September 2020. I've heard conflicting information.

Should be up to day of check in (up to Oct 3rd I believe) according to the website

I stated why I was calling, which was that the resort I was in would not be open on my dates. She confirmed that and started naming all of the resorts, in every category, which had availability during my dates. Poly was our first choice, so I said that and she put it in and gave me our new price. Like I said, had I taken whatever they gave me, I am sure I would have been put into BCV or something else, which was closer to the YC price, without being charged, but I am not 100% sure. I think they are giving the same discount you always had and then probably matching you to something else, if you tell them you don't care.

This matches what people who have reliable sources reported yesterday. Because there are now options for people, they will no longer be moving for no charge.

As I shared, what was reported was they only moved earlier because DVC villas are deluxe and other than Fr. Wilderness, no lower priced options.

Make sure you chose the right month/date. I got the same but it turns out I picked today in my hurry!

It would be nice but lots of reports yesterday that people will no longer be getting the move without a charge.

But, let’s hope someone does. My TA friend has been told charge today as well.

I did pay to upgrade but my resort CBR is tentatively open on my dates so not sure if that is applicable for folks with a closed resort. That said, she just quoted the price and didn’t say anything about my old resort being open or not so kind of seems like their default mode is pay to move.

Once I entered my resort reservation number a CM immediately took my call. Good luck!

Same. that's why i've been trying to call since 7am. If I have to pay, i want to try to modify with as little cost as possible. I did get through at 7:50am (before system was open) and cast member assured me if i wasn't modifying the date, they would just be able to put me in an open property with no charge....but I won't believe it until it's booked in my disney experience and the balance due still shows zero.

HOw did you get park reservations
