Resort Bonding

OK DISers, here's a simple question for you. How "bonded" are you with your Home Resort? Is it a place you crave to return to, just a name on the contract as good as any other, or something you run screaming from?

I love and crave return visits!! I do look forward to the others, but have a difficult time not booking at SSR. I guess I like the condo style because love OKW also.

We have 5 home resorts. VWL's bond is the tightest, but we're also stuck on BWV, BCV, VB and AKL.

OKW for me, along with the occasional side trip to VB . I just may sell my small BWV contract this year. No interest in any of the other resorts.

You don't really have an option for me.

I love, LOVE, my home resort. I take pride in owning there. In the long run, most of my trips will be there.

But right now, I don't really crave going back. My home resort is faithful. She will always be there for me, waiting at the 11 month mark. Meanwhile, there are all these sexy new resorts to try out. I'm going to play the field a bit. Then when I've had my fun, I'll come home.

We own at VWL, AKV and HHI and love all three resorts. It is kind of funny for a while there VWL was not my favorite, I had switched to OKW and/or BWV; but as of late I've come back to making VWL my favorite followed by AKV and HHI

I chose selection "B", but not any resort will do. Our home resort is BWV, but VB & HHI are what I crave.

When I think of Disney Trips they all revolve around BWV stays.

Sure!

I think having the boardwalk view guaranteed is what really hooked me on BWV. I may have sold it after my mom otherwise (we used to travel together). Can't give that up!

We own at SSR, only stayed there once and loved it, however we've loved every resort we've stayed in and like to stay someplace different every visit.

This says it for us as well. We adore SSR but love each DVC resort we've stayed at so far. I want to try them all at least once but have no problem whatsoever staying at our home resort.

We are soooo bonded with our home resort, SSR! We've stayed there 5 times over the past 3 years, and can't wait for our next trip home, which will hopefully be later this year!

We own at OKW & AKV's and absolutely love both!! We have spread our wings a little and tried other resorts (we would like to stay at each DVC resort at least once for the experience - they are all so wonderful!), but we always long to go "home".

I'm just back from my first trip "home" and I loved it! I would love to try other resorts, but I'm afraid I just won't be as happy as I am at BWV.

While I love my home resort (OKW), I love others as well. I don't "crave" to return to OKW for each and every visit. I purchased DVC in 2000. And there are many new resorts now that didn't even exist when we bought (VWL, BCV, SSR, AKV and now BLT). So we never had a choice to buy into anything but BWV or OKW (as far as wdw DVC's go). So much has changed since that time.

We like to mix it up a bit too. So I went with "any resort will do", though I do have a couple favs or preferences that I look forward to booking stays with. Wasn't really a choice for that.
