Resort Airline Check-in

Hoping one of my fellow Disers will know the answer to this one. According to the information we received in our "packet" when we were down in May, Southwest Airlines is not listed as one of the airlines for OKW. Most of the other resorts (including Saratoga Springs) are listed for SW, so I am wondering if the reason OKW was excluded was because of the renovations and once the renovations are complete it, too, will accept SW check-ins.

Does anyone know if the renovations are completed? We will be arriving on 8/5 and I am hoping we will be able to check our luggage (for SW) at the OKW RAC. TIA.

They are still working on OKW. RAC is at all of the WDW resorts and SWA is being added in stages.

I work for SWA and they were trying them out at a few select resorts to see how receptive people were to it. This is also true for cruise lines, they're doing it at FLL but are considering going to PC also. I personally hope they do because I really hate lugging my luggage around after vacation. I get enough of that at work. LOL
