Reserving excursions etc...

Hi there. Our family will be first time cruisers for a 7 day eastern in March 2007. I am told I won't get all the pre-cruise paperwork until about 30 days prior. How do I go about reserving dinners or excursions? I am lost. Any help or advice on anything would be great!

  Get your DCL ressie no
  Logg in to DCL website and register.
  Check your booking before 75 days ensure correct
  Then at 3EST on 75 days out you can book
  Go to my cruise section
  Best to logg in about 5 mins before the time.
  They did send me a reminbder and details before the mark for booking ressies.

The best thing you can do to get ready for your cruise is read, read and read some more here on the DCL Forum, another item that was helpful to me was a Passporter DCL Guide Book.

My suggestion is to see what excursions you would like to do prior to booking them. Yes, you can start booking them online at 75 days prior to the cruise. We were up at 3 am to start reserving ours. We had everything planned prior to the 75 days (Palo day/time possiblities, massages, and excursions). Book Palo first because that is the first to go and then do the spa, excursions, and the kids club.

Perhaps the paperwork they were referring to is the documents. The documents are not the same as excursion information and the like.

You can do some of the check in on-line providing information such as transportation, flight info, credit card for the room charges. You will get your actual cruise documents based on what you have done on-line. This will basically be your luggage tags, transfer tickets if using DCL buses.

Again, the documents that you receive around 30 days out is NOT the same as the excursion information.
