I was just putting the print out of our buy4/get3 package away, when I noticed the terms require the full, legal name of all travelers at time of reservation. I didn't notice this during my online purchase. Do I really need to call and correct this?

BTW, we are driving, so this wouldn't be for airline tickets. We just purchased a room and WDW tickets.

They need to match the name on your credit card/DL. What name would you give if it wasn't your full legal name? You don't need your middle, just your first and last.

Unfortunately we were in the same boat and our AAA TA told us we should change it immediately and she did. It wasn't a huge hassle since we weren't flying but she did say it would create problems at check in (my dh goes by his middle name not his first and ofcourse his drivers license/credit card has his given name and middle initial). Good luck

Well, my children were adopted and have had 3 names (name they were born with, name born with but our last name after adoption from Guatemala, names we have called them and officially changed to recently during state readoption), so it's a little more complicated for some people. We did their state readoption last week and I will have social security cards in 2 weeks in the names we selected/have called them since I fostered them in Guatemala, but all their photo ID is in their second name after adoption, and won't be corrected in time. Looks like I may have to take a boatload of ID just for my two kids. :headache:

Also to me full, legal name is first, middle, last. So that's another reason I asked. I didn't give middle names for DH or me.

You won't need ID for the kids so don't worry at all about that.

The first adult to check in will have to provide a photo ID and a CC'd for charges. The name on your ID's should match your ID and CC'd. I have never provided my middle name.

My SIL goes by her middle name and her ID is under her "real" first name and it has never been an issue for her.
