I'm usually a good advanced planner, and already have a couple dining reservations I made over 60 days out. I wasn't aware of Yak & Yeti and we are 2-weeks out of our trip and they are already booked for lunch. Is it worth calling once a day to try to still get the reservation?

Also what is the purpose of Disney segmenting your when you call in if you are making a reservation within 7-days?

Is my best bet to just show up when they first open at 11? I would guess some people have reservations that don't show up.

I would just constantly check online. I've made most of my ressies on my phone, I just check whenever I have a free minute & lots of ressies have turned up. I just booked my trip about a month ago and have gotten almost all of the reservations that I wanted.
