When placing a reservation, do they honor requests such as requesting a room as close as possible to the elevators?

We will be staying in a BLT Grand Villa (hopefully) that last week of January 2011. One of the members of our group is handicapped with a prosthetic leg. He rents a scooter in the parks and we are just trying to cut down on his walking back to the room.

If you are staying in a Grand Villa at BLT, your villa will be quite close to an elevator. At most, you'll be four doors away from one of the banks of elevators. Work2play has a map of BLT, and you'll see that all of the Grand Villas as on the top floor (see http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2257082). Although her map doesn't label them, the two public elevator banks are the gray colored "columns" located between villas 8512-8516 and 8530-8530.

Have your friend rent a ECV from a off site company and use it full time. The cost is usually cheaper and it makes getting around much easier.
