Reservation Question SSR

Scheduled to close on SSR on June 1st. Want to make resv for a June 2-5th. What happens if I don't close due to a delay with SSR? anybody know?

if I remember right, (its been a few years) my guide helped me make a ressie will all the paper work and closing dates were going on. My ressie was for a few months after closing though and not 1 day. if they do hold it, then you could not stay if you do not close, other than by cash. I have stayed by cash at HHI when I ran out of points. I made a ressie for a 1 night stay for ssr to check it out on my way to vb. it was in the 6 month window and for 2 studios. As for SSR not closing, they have alot of money tied up with the grand opening weekend. I think it will be open by then. Disney pushes their contractors hard and has huge daily penaltys for not being finished.

If member services lets you make a reservation you should have no problems.

I'm a little uncertain about the dates you provided, though. The ability to use DVC accommodations is driven by the date on which your unit is available for guest stays. If your ownership is in Building 1, you should be able to book stays after May 17.

If your ownership is in Building 2, the occupancy date is June 6. If you own this building, you would not be able to book a stay June 2-5.

So, I'm not entirely sure where your June 1 date came from. A call to Member Services should clear everything up.

Hi, my paperwork, closing statements, etc. say June 1st closing. My building does not open until July though, so what I found out from member services is that I cannot use my SSR points until the building OPENS. I had to use my BCV points for my June stay and my Mothers Day trip to VB. I have 3 points left !whoo hoo! Amazing what I did with those 50 pts!! They go too fast! Waah!
