Reservation question - add on

Hi all, long time lurker rare poster here. We booked a trip to POP 8/19 - 25 (4 day hoppers). Booked it with (and because of) free dining. My wife and I sat down tonight and did some "Disney math" and are thinking of adding some room nights and hopper days. New plan would be to check in on 8/18 and out 8/26 and up the hoppers to 7 days. It'd be cheaper than getting a hotel and meals for 4 on the way home! YAY!!
Here's the question - will we be able to extend the room nights and hoppers and still take advantage of free dining? Hoping the expertise of the boards can help us with an answer before we commit. Thanks in advance!

No, since the booking window for free dining is closed you will only be able to use current offers.

You can keep your reservation and add separate room only bookings for before and after but that won't help your tickets or dining.

Call. Just because the booking window has ended doesn't mean they may not be able to add nights under the promotion. You may have to switch room categories or resorts but it's worth a call to find out. The CM will have to contact guest services to make any changes since the booking window has ended. If you get a CM that seems like they have no clue, call back. Good luck!

Thanks everybody. We got through with reservations and they were able to add on the days WITH dining! Gotta love it!!
Now to scrape up any FP+ that's available for the added park days...whew!
