reservation confirmation problems

Does anyone notice the link in their emailed reservation confirmation not bringing up their reservation details?
 
This has happened to me in the past. In my case, the system was temporarily down, and my reservation showed up later in the day. Good luck!
 
if someone has an email confirmation and the time could they check to see if its just us or system wide?

I have been having the same problem for over 24 hours, and I thought it was just me :confused3. Thanks for posting. I have three trips I am checking on and I can't see any of them. So frustrating. I think this has been a problem for at least a day, for me. Maybe two. I was going to call MS tomorrow.

Sort of off topic, if a WL comes through, will it be reflected on the online reservation confirmation?
 
I think they would email a whole new confirmation to you if a wait list comes through

I thought that too, but it would be the same confirmation number, just with one more day added onto the end. If it is "dynamic" and on a website that you and I both can't access at the moment :surfweb:, then I was thinking maybe it would show up on there if it cleared.
 
I do not have a wait list pending but I added a day on the other day and it kept the same reservation number like you with the extra day added on. I just cant bring anything up in the email link

Well, that makes me think that *if* we could access our reservation confirmations, I might be able to see the WL. It's a tough one at VGC and I am 33 days out. I have the WL until 7 days out.

I will call MS in the morning if I still can't see my reservations. The system just hangs and hangs and then eventually comes back with an empty form with the colors and logo, I think.
 
I called and she knows nothing about any problems and reservation looks good but still can not pull up the confirmation. Geesh!!!
 
I just tried the link in one of my email confirmations and it is not working for me either. It takes a very long time for the page to load and when it does, it displays only static information (labels like "Arrival" and "Guest(s)") plus some images but none of the dynamic information (arrival date, names of guests, etc.) Looks like a database problem.

Log on to the member website and check your reservation there. Even though the link in the email confirmation is not working, the member website is still showing my reservations.

If your waitlist has come through you will see it listed under "Upcoming Vacations". Even though you are just adding one more night to an existing trip, it will be displayed as an additional entry in the list of upcoming vacations with a check-in and check-out date for that one night but with the same confirmation number as the rest of your stay. You should also receive a new email confirmation when the WL comes through.
 
Nope. This is why things have been not hit me so positive since the purchase of my DVC membership this last year. We like Disney but DVC has opened our eyes to a lot.
I haven't found any way to report technical issues directly. The only option I've found is to send an email to MS explaining the problem. I try to emphasize that I am reporting a technical issue. I usually get a polite reply from an MS CM explaining how to access the feature in question. I then reply back stating that yes I know how to access it, the problem is that it does not work. I include the step-by-step procedure to reproduce the problem and ask that they please forward the information to their tech support people. It can take two or three rounds with MS before they acknowledge that this isn't "user error" and they reply that they will report the issue.

I've used this approach to report a few problems on the member's website. It's inefficient but it's the only way I've found to report anything. If you find an easier path please let me know!
 
I have wondered about this myself as it seems they never think they can have an issue but yet they always do. Surely they aren't that oblivious and others have made mention of these exact problems. I think its just a way to push the problem aside
 
We booked 2 different reservations today so I have been on the phone with MS twice. Each time the CM told me that their system was down so that I would not be receiving an email confirmation at all but would receive a hard copy of the reservation by mail. As soon as I hung up with them the 2nd time, I went and checked the member website and both of my reservations are there correctly.

The issue seems to be with the email system but they are well aware of it.
 
I called this morning and was told they are working on it. I am sure that eventually it will work.

I love DVC and am happy to return to having simple expectations of a confirmation letter in the mail :). Call me old-fashioned, but there are more problems and horrors with all this online reservation stuff!
