Travel to Dublin

Hi everyone! I have a couple of questions for my Irish friends (or anyone familier with Dublin). I am considering a 5 day trip there in August, looking for some hotel recommendations near 3Arena? Also, is 3Arena close to any other attractions? We won't have a car-is it difficult to get around?

Purpose of trip is an event at 3Arena, so just looking to fill up a few days for 2 adults, 2 kids (9 and almost 7 by then).

I've done a bit of research but not sure how far apart attractions are, how to get around etc. Thanks for any help!

The Gibson Hotel is the building beside the 3 Arena.
The Spencer Hotel and The Samuel Hotel are both within 10 minutes walk from the 3 Arena.

Also, is 3Arena close to any other attractions? We won't have a car-is it difficult to get around?

The 3 Arena is in Dublin docklands area on the north side of the river. It is in a commercial and residential area near Dublin port. The LUAS Tram line ends at the 3 Arena. This tram line will bring you directly to the main city centre area. It is about 15 minutes by tram to O'Connell Street, Dublins main street. Once at O'Connell street everything is walkable.

If you want to share what research you have done, I can help a bit. Dublin is a modern vibrant city with about 1000 years of history. Its very hard to advise unless I know what is of interest to you.
