Research projet idea for high school students?

I'm bringing my 2 senior classes to visit a wonderful Disney exhibition in Montreal.

I teach art by the way hehehe

I made a little document for them with question to answer while they are inside the museum. You know, to make sure they just don't walk by without seeing anything.

After that, I'd like them to do a little research project of a few pages.

But I'm thinking that if I do a general Disney research they will copy/paste info from the net.

Any idea what I could ask them to do?

Oh and by the way...they speak French so I hope I can find a few good internet websites in French so they can find more info on it

How about an explanation of the animation process before computers were used? For example, flip sketches, water color gels, etc.

I could get them to choose 1 or 2 techniques and explain them....

I figured what I'm going to do.

They will choose 1 Disney animation movie.

Then they will write a technical info page on the movie (like title, year, blah blah)

Then since the exhibition is about the influences of Disney..they will have to find a masterpiece that makes them think of that movie and explain why with a few analysis notions I will show them.
