resales..why big variation per resort?

I've stayed at all the dvc resorts except hilton head, and it seems like they all shine in their own right. Upon checking the resales, it is clear that some home resorts sell for much more than others, though. What is the reasoning behind this, just wondering. I know when I bought at BWV, Vero Beach was the same price although it did have some extra incentive for magical beginnings or something like that. But in resales, just using that as an example, the price differences seem substancial. Also, don't SSR owners get more years on their contract. So why are those resales the same and even less than other locations with less years. I guess I'm not getting something here!Thanks!

Mostly it's supply and demand. It may also be what people are willing to sell their points for. Someone who paid $85 per point to buy into BCV will want to at least breakeven if possible. Someone who bought OKW at $55 and needs to sell might be more likely to sell quickly at $75 per point after having enjoyed their points for the last 10+ years.

I agree, supply and demand. More people want to buy at the WDW resorts than at Vero, especially considering the high dues.

SSR is still being sold by Disney and they impacts the resale price. It is much easier to buy through them with the financing and no ROFR.
