Apologies that I didn’t read every reply, but IMO Boardwalk still makes sense at the right price, ESPECIALLY if you’re using it for Standard rooms, which are so outrageously point cheap it makes the rest of the math almost (but only almost) irrelevant.
The same can’t be said of most of the other 2042s
As to value, I think even in 10 years it will retain some value. At that point everything will be crystal clear - you can very closely approximate remaining dues and cash costs looking only 5 or 6 years out, so a buyer is basically looking at buying a prepaid vacation plan. It’s almost a try-it-before-you-buy-it for
DVC, and I actually think expiring resale contracts will be pretty popular.
It wouldn’t shock me if even in 2035 it is worth $50 a point or even quite a bit more - depends a lot on cash rates and dues.
