Resale RCI restrictions?

Can resale DVC points be put into RCI? I can't find an answer.

I have a (very loaded) contract pending and I think by the time it closes it'll be too late to use the banked 2019 points. I'll try to rent them out super cheap last minute but wondering about RCI. I thought I couldn't use RCI because they are resale but hearing otherwise from a friend.

I don't believe you can use any points for RCI unless the points are direct. Buying resale only allows you to stay at the 14 Disney resorts and that is it.
