Resale- quick question about referrals

I am considering buying a resale, would my friend who is a current DVC owner get any benefit if I use their name as a referral?

Referrals are only good if you are buying direct through Disney.

Only if the resale broker you are going through has a referral program of their own.

But, as far as Disney goes, no.
