I('m pricing tickets to go to a Red Sox game in June(hopfully) These prices are insane.. I mean crappy bleachers tickets are outrageous and I want decent ones.. I'm going to pay way too much money for loge seats, but It's worth it to be back at Fenway for the first time in 20 years...I'm taking the other half too and I really hope he *gets* it...That magical feeling you get at Fenway

Well, the good news is that any game you might want to attend is almost certainly sold out.

There are [lenty of tickets available, just not throught the Red Sox official site..Places like StubHub etc. have tons of tickets

Where are you pricing them?? Last year I bought 2 upper bleacher seats ($12 seats) for $50 a piece on Ebay!! This year I was lucky enough to get tickets to 3 games from the box office the day they went on sale in January. I paid $20 for standing room only, $12 for upper bleachers & $45 for right field loge. I don't think this is bad at all.

What really bugs me....is when you see other teams on TV and 1/2 their park is empty. If I had an MLB team in my backyard and it was easy to get tickets, I'd be at every game!

If you're looking on Ebay, I wonder if closer to the game if they'd be cheaper? Since the seller needs to get rid of them? Good luck, every fan should be able to go to Fenway!

You'll be lucky if you can get tickets at all without going through an agency. DH and I are in Red Sox Nation, we worked the phones, won one of the ticket lotteries, and we still only have tickets for three games. Good luck in your quest! There really is something magical about Fenway Park.

An agency..Like Stub Hub etc?If so,that's who I'm going through..It seems like the only real option.. I know i'll pay twice what it would cost If I got them through the box office

Maybe you can help me then... I've been in San diego for 16 years.. You could get great tickets there for cheap. I wonder why? LOL
When I was a kid we always had nice box seats on the infield .It was much easier to get tickets then.. I don;t even have aclue how to do it now..So next year, when would they start selling tickets for 2007? Maybe if I'm prepared and early next year I can do better

When I was younger, we had lower level, first baseline seats to a game - and paid $11. I have a friend of a friend who has behind home plate season tickets he is selling for $200 a piece. Red Sox baseball is just not a family affair anymore.

Try being a fan of a team who isn't doing well. Imagine your company having tickets and going through a entire day before somebody is willing to take some free tickets.

Basically all sports tickets are very high now. Short of a big game once in awhile, I'm happy just watching at home.

The Red Sox have an official web site for season ticket holders to sell unused tickets. They can not be sold for more than face value. I think you can sign up on redsox.com

However, that being said, just wait until you see the prices at the park! When I get free tickets for my son and I, we can still go through $200 easily. $3.50 for a 12oz bottle of water, $6.50 for a beer!

It is unbelievable! Oh, and if you are a person of size, you think seats on a plane are small? Wait until you get to Fenway!

I know you said you wanted to go to Fenway, but have you considered going to a Red Sox away game? DH went to the game in Baltimore last weekend and got great seats for $50 each. He was working in MD for the week and had some time Saturday to go to the game. He loved Camden Yard and said he'd go back there in a second! You could make a fun weekend away out of it...I know you can get great Ding! fares on SW from Providence to Baltimore...like $34 each way.

Just a thought!

Thanks for this info..I found the site and I think I may sign up..It seems worth the 50$ especially when I found out that I can take the T from Fenway to Providence for like 7$

No it isn't, even with the occasional free ticket. We haven't gone in a few years and don't plan to.
