Requirements to get AAA Rate?

I recently reserved a room with AAA rates, for my next trip to WDW. However, after the thrill of saving several hundred over the stay, I realized I no longer have a membership.

However, my mother, who is the second guest on the reservation is always a member.

Do they ask for the AAA card at check in? If they do, would my mother showing her card be acceptable, or would they say it must be the primary guest? Thank you for your advice.

Could you make your Mother the primary on the reservation? If it's because of you paying, etc., it doesn't matter to Disney who pays the bill. In other words, if you made the reservation and chose to have your Mother pay your deposit, etc., with her credit card, Disney would still take her money.

I hope that's somewhat clear.

To my understanding, it is just "someone" on the reservation... you will have to list your mother on the reservation as the second adult.

YES! A card will have to be shown at check-in, otherwise you will be charged rack rate.

It has been my experience at Disney and any other hotel where I have used my AAA card for a discount that I have NEVER been asked for it when I have checked in. I always have it, but have never needed it.

I had an AAA rate at All Star Sports during this past April and was asked to show my AAA card at check-in.

Canada has CAA. As far as I am aware, AAA and CAA are it.

How far in advance do the AAA rates come out? I just booked the Poly for Dec. of this year and the cast member I booked with said there were no AAA rates available. But now I'm wondering if there were none left, or if they are just not out yet for this Dec.
