Hen we went to the fort a few years ago we were told be could fax a loop request in a week or so in advance, not that it helped. I believe I read here recently that we can request anytime now?

The Fort does not get your reservation until 10 days before you are to arrive so it can't be applied until then. You can call and have the request added to your reservation and do online check-in before the 10 days.

Hey blu,

Just call the Disney reservation line and ask to have a requested loop noted on your reservation. That's what I did and now that I am within a month of arrival, I'm using MDE and it has an option for early checkin and my request was shown there.

Now that Disney is using MDE, I would recommend an electronic update like what I did versus a piece of paper which might get shuffled around, lost, or ignored. Every time I have requested a loop the Fort has tried to get me in the requested loop and most times they did (but not every single time). But their batting average with me is pretty good.

When are going to be there Bama Ed?

The early checkin is an option on the "My Disney Experience" app/website/junk. It's where you can customize Magic Bands, make your Fast Pass Plus ride ressies, make dining ressies, etc. I have a thread going about it since I feel like it forces laid back folks like myself (my DW would disagree with that self-characterization) to pre-plan and pre-schedule what day in what park and what ride and what meal ressie this far out. I hate it but I feel forced to use it.

I check in Saturday March 22 and am planning to do a pre-trip thread in early March. Hope you'll be there same time - last time around I met 4 DISsers and it's fun.

I got a few marbles/ideas rattling round my head too.

Bummer, we will be leaving the 18th. Ah, now I get MDE, all I could think was Disney express/magic express. We will probably only use magic bands for the potty, this trip is going to be spent at universal :O
