Requests for ADR's- any websites?

Hopefully I'm allowed to post this question. I understand from reading the sticky that one cannot post requests or trades here. Are there any sites that allow this ? (are we able to mention other sites on this board ?)

As an example if I have a CRT dinner for a specific date and time and person B has a different time but they want my time and I want theirs are there any sites that allow us to advertise this so we can coordinate?

I understand that Disney doesn't allow name changes but if 2 people are willing to chance it and coordinate their cancellations I'm not understanding why this is a problem and it isn't supported here ? I'm not a Disney super user so I'm sure someone can enlighten me as to why this is in place.

Well I'm really surprised that no mods have not come in to comment on this as of yet so I will respond for now.Wanted posts are not allowed for the reason stated Disney no longer allows transferring of ADR's so it is no longer allowed to post wanted/trade posts here on the DisBoards.However you may watch the Cancellation threads and if someone posts that they are going to cancel an ADR you are looking for all you have to do is PM them to try to coordinate a time,that is allowed because it is done in private.

As to any other websites that allow wanted posts I am not aware of any although it has been rumored on here that there is supposed to be one on facebook but many have tried to find it but have not had any luck.

I do understand why they don't allow trades. What I'm still not getting is why they allow cancellations to be posted but not requests. It just makes it easier to coordinate.

For example Im not cancelling my CRT dinner , that said if I was aware of someone with an earlier time who wanted later then I would cancel....does that make sense or no ?

I guess Im just not getting the difference between allowing the cancellation posts but not the requests.

Mods work too

Once upon a time, there was a website that would book up CRT ( back before CC were required)

You would tell your story/plead your case and if deemed worthy, they would grant your wish and bestow upon you a coveted CRT ressie

The dis allows people to post what is being canceled. It helps many. We are not going further than that
