Requests at VWL?

I will be staying in a two bedroom at VWL for the first time Jan 16-23. What requests should I make when I reserve the room?

I always request non-smoking, non-HC. Outside of that, any room is fine, though I've never had the infamous "dumpster" view room.

We like an upper floor with the view of the quiet pool. Not many rooms have it but if you can get it, it is very nice.

Besides non-smoking and non-hc, also ask for

NEAR ELEVATORS

We have done this many times and it has served us very well, and been ample protection against the dumpster view.

Since almost all the rooms have a "woods view", we focus on what's important to us. First, it's a non-smoking room. Secondly, we don't like the first floor so we request an upper floor.

Depending on what's important to you, you can choose from the various requests you've seen here. Just remember that MS assumes that the order you give them the requests is the order of priority for you.

I'm in a dedicated 2 bedroom at VWL right now on the top floor (5th) and it looks like most of the top floor is just dedicated 2 bedroom units. I am on the lake side with a woods view and it has been very quiet and nice.

It is extremely difficult to ask for a specific room (as well as trying on the CM’s). With the new room ready policy, guests have reported getting several choices at check-in and this may than help

When I clicked onto this thread I was thinking I need to print out InstImpres files on VWL. And lo and behold you have done all the work for me! This is the second time I'm using the info you have so thoughtfully put together for us dis'ers. Thanks for taking the time to do this. The list of handicap and dumpster view rooms will be a great help!

Your very welcome but I certainly couldn't do it without all the DISers sharing info. Hope you have a great trip. Wish mine was only 20 horus away but I have months to go
