Requesting a portable crib?

I'm staying at CBR, and DD really sleeps best when she's in her own bed. I see online that I can request a portable crib... is this guaranteed? What type of crib is it? How well does it fit in the room? Anyone have picture?

They gave us a Pack-n-Play, you know one of those fold-up, portable playpens. of which, BTW, was very old, used-up and dirty. To make a long story short, we weren't too happy there.

Not sure how old your dd will be, but we went last year when dd was 2 and still in a crib at home.

We had stayed at other hotels (non disney trips) with her and never seemed to get a decent crib, so we asked for bed rails instead. Worked a lot better for us. If you dd is very young I guess this is not an option but thought I'd through it out there.

I don't know about the moderates, but at the Deluxe resorts, Disney gives you the option of the Pack 'n Play or an actual rolling crib. It's definitely doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, it's just your standard white metal crib that kinda looks like this:

At the time, we stayed at CBR (Moderate). They gave us a Pack-n-Play Portable Playpen to use as a crib! Definitely didn't look like this pic posted above!

I think it is pretty much a pack and play everywhere except the larger deluxe resorts. We got a real wooden crib at the Poly. How old is DD? Our DD 18months did fine with sleeping with DW and had pillows on the other side to keep her from rolling off. Bed rails may be a better option if you don't want the pack and play.
