I'd be inclined to believe that.

I wouldn't be surprised to find moles one message boards... but I just don't see it as cost-effective to pay people full-time salaries to hang out on chat boards and try to convince people to stay on-site... especially when plenty of people here already do that for free.

Heck, I tell people how much I enjoy AKL/AKV and why that led to my DVC ownership there... so I guess that makes me one of the fanboys. Ha.

I also don't see it as cost effective, but I would think that someone pokes their head in here every once and a while. Or possibly there is some sort of outside service that has bots that monitor these kinds of sites looking for certain keywords.

Its all part of sales and market research and I would say its a good thing. The internet is a great way for companies to get instant feedback on their products. Whether or not they do anything about it is another show.
