Well we did everything we could to resist booking our 4-night Wonder cruise for June 2008. We even had an hour long appt with a travel agent to look at other options like RCCL. I posted my disappointment on the boards. Sent DCL a polite but annoyed e-mail questioning the huge increase in summer rates. But it was to no avail. My wife and I discussed and discussed and decided that we will cruise after all with DCL even though this 4-day is costing us $300 more than our 7-day in Feb 2006. :confused3 Disney should be happy to know that the microchip implanted in my brain while I was sleeping at WDW back in 2001 is still functionning properly. It is the ONLY explanation I have for paying these kind of rates :scared1: Well that, plus we have 4 kids from 5yrs to 13yrs, who all love Disney . In fact when we were looking at the brochure for RCCL with our daughter, who will be 14 when we cruise again, she looked at us with her beautiful hazel eyes and said, "Yeah, the rock wall and surfing thing look cool, but...it's not Disney, Dad!" *blink*blink*blink* Please Daddy, can we go on a Disney Cruise again? You can have the babysitting money I've been saving, if that helps. (Ahhh sweet innocent financially naive daughter of mine)

See????? They got to her too!!! We are all Disney POD PEOPLE. In all seriousness, if I have a teenage daughter that is willing to still be delighted by a Disney Cruise, I will count my blessings and hold on to that last ounce of innocence as long as I possible can :goodvibes . So DIS friends, we will cruise on June 15th and love every .9722/minute of it (yes I actually figured it out----pathetic, I know) even though I will be cursing the mouse every time I make a payment.....but of course that won't last long because of the electric shock treatment I will undoubtedly experience once the words are spoken. I'm sure that was implanted as well...

The mouse gets us all. But I am not going to lie everytime I hear that a friend is planning a vacation I try to sell Disney Cruise Lines and how AWESOME They are. NOW THAT IS PATHETIC.

My chip's still working, too!:upsidedow

a microchip??????? too funny!!!!!!:lmao: :lmao: I was wondering how they keep getting us to pay these prices!!

I think a chip must have been implanted here also;) , probably back in June 2005 when we were on a "free" trip to Disneyworld. Because the next summer, we were at Disneyland, and now a Disney cruise has been booked at these expensive rates. Too bad that chip wasn't planted prior to the rate increase.

A microchip  this explans why after our last trip to disney world we all wanted to go on a disney cruise and we booked it even after we got the price.:scared1:

You are too funny Dean!!!:lmao: We have cabin for the June 22, 2008 4 night on hold, have until Monday to decide. I am soo torn....:confused3 We have annual passes to Universal that are good through Nov. 2008. Maybe we can add some days at Universal. :goodvibes

My rate for us 3 was $2740 a cat 10. Not sure how it compares to others.

Hmm, interesting theory.
That might explain how my "once in a lifetime" Disney cruise turned in to rebooking onboard, then walking off the ship and almost immediately wanting to change that booking for one week into 2 back to back cruises- which somehow morphed into the 15nt repo cruise.

Interesting indeed.

We are doing the WB Repo and got a category 10 with transfers for around $6000 - just for giggles I went and looked at a beach resort that is all inclusive that has amenities like on the cruise - kids club, drinks, etc. It did inlcude adult drinks and land/sea toys and did a quote for the exact time/nights that the WB Repo is for and I am no longer in such sticker shock so to speak - the cost for that "inclusive" trip would have been $11,000+ in the cheapest rooom!!!! That is sticker shock! I really feel like I am getting a good deal - neither inlcuded airfare.

Yup, they must have implanted that chip in my dh's brain on our 1/07 cruise because he just agreed to a 8/08 cruise. I just finished booking it and the funny thing is we got the same stateroom again!!!!!!

We've got it too. Except my husband says that it's in the snow that falls at Disneyland. Something about it touching you makes you want to buy, buy, BUY!

Oh my gosh, you are too funny. My dh never cared for Disney prior to our first cruise in December 2006. Ever since the day we returned home, I have heard about Disney daily and how he just wishes we would win the lottery so we could go sooner than Halloween 2008. I always wondered if "the Mouse" had something to do with it and now you've convinced me!
