Repairing Broken Pin

Hi Everyone --

I have a question about repairing pins: I got a pin in the mail yesterday that I had bought at auction. I opened the bubble wrap that was around it and looked at it and it looked fine. I put it back in the bubble wrap because I had some things I had to do. Later I went back to look at it again and when I opened the bubble wrap again the pin fell apart. It's the DL open edition 2000 COM pin of Maleficent. The frame fell right off the front of the pin. Is there any way to put it back together?

DisneyFan0304...my DDIL had the same problem with one of those pins. Our jeweler told her to use superglue, sparingly, to fix it. Apparently the frames come off those pins rather easily.

Thanks a lot. I guess it's worth a try. The pin comes up for auction so seldom, I hate to have to return it and wait for it to come up again.

I love my E-6000...it fixes anything!

But, for the Tinkerbell Lenticular pin, which also apparently has a lot of problem, I used crazyglue to stick it back on the frame. This was a few months ago, and it's been fine since!
