Rep.Stark (D) Should apologize!

Dawn, they won't give an inch. It's not what they want to hear so they will turn it around to their benefit. If someone says anything against the President they are on it. Forget about the troops. They claim to support them but only when it's convenient. This is clearly a divided subject. I almost hate reading some of the posts because I can't believe what people think. Clearly Stark should apologize. Someone dying is not amusement for the President. I think he is a decent human being that gets up everyday and hopes to do the right thing for this country. Iraq had to be done. Like it or not.

It's idiotic comments like this that scare me concerning the future of the USA!

Why? I'm honestly more scared for our future because of things that the current administration has done than I am by a comment on the DIS. The Bush administration has done it's best to alienate the us from the rest of the world, and it's working!

Is this why people get so quiet when Bush starts talking?

If I was Republican, I would want attention on anything other than this administration as well. That is why everyone is jumping on any little thing that they can right now. Rush, Stark, Chinatown, etc are all just distractions trying to get Americans eyes away from what is important. I suppose next we will get a Drudge Report on how there is a higher percentage fo Democrats who are gay and trying to get married to an illegal immigrant of the same sex?

Absolutely. Oh yes, let's all get outraged about Rush, Stark and Hillary's contributors, her laugh or her "cleavage". Let's not mention that over 3000 Americans have DIED in Iraq with no end in sight, that we are spending BILLIONS on this war with no end in sight, that there are more and more people coming into this country illegally every day, that while everyone's patting themselves on the back on how well the economy is doing-more and more middle class, hard working, tax paying Americans are struggling from paycheck to paycheck. The Republicans had a majority and a hold on the entire government and did NOTHING for years except start a war and NOW they want to point at the new congress and their failure?? Take the beam out of your own eye first, ladies and gentlemen-you squandered an amazing opportunity.

Really? Why is that again?

Like it or not-only 24% of the country still agrees with you and fewer than that support Congress.

Hold on to your outrage, because you're going to have plenty of chances to use it in 2009 and further-and you have nobody but GW and the do-nothings in Congress to thank for that. As I said above-the Republicans had an amazing opportunity to show America that they were the party that was going to get things done and they threw it away.

They have their template, that's for sure!

By far, the best post of the thread and the morning. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I disagree....
Afganistan had to be done.....

As for putting Iraq ahead of Afganistan....That DID NOT have to be done.

I support my troops....I want them to have everything they need,
which our dear president has NOT done.

you don't have to support the war to support our troops
Stop confusing the issue.
If he was a descent human being he should feel horrible for what
has happened to our military....stretched to the max.

Your wrong.....
We can thank this administration for making the executive branch more
powerful....

I'm sure Hillary will thank them for that;)

But that's the template-if you criticize the President or anything else regarding the decisions made about this war-you are not supporting the troops. Thing is, fewer people are buying that now, and it will soon stop working at all.

Both parties are guilty of this, there is always an opposite opinion to yours and they feel the same passion you do , believe they are right, as you do and think you are just as crazy as you think they are.

I dont any and dont think there are many americans that dont support the toops 24/7, the opposite thinkers to you love their country and the troops just as much as you do, they just dont love the commander and chief. No way to confuse that or twist it, it is not that way just cause you want it to be.

And you hit the nail on the head! Its clearly a divided subject, much like the division this president has caused in our country. People despising other people over political opinion, isnt that just wonderful. Iraq had to be done? thats a matter of great great debate, and cetainly far from a fact.

No apology is needed - and for the record, I agree with him.

:worship:

Well...I guess at least he didn't accuse our military of being "cold blooded murderers" like Murtha did. Now THAT is someone who owe's a HUGE appology - but I won't hold my breath.

Except $2,200,000.00 say that the reporting of it was a lie and a smear.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

Because it's worthy of repeating. Again.
