Renting Points for Split Stay from 2 Different Owners

For my upcoming trip, in order to save the most money and get the resorts we want for a split stay we might rent from two different DISers. Is there any problem with that that I don't know about?

To me it seems like the only negative is having to deal with two separate people when adding ME, or making a change, etc. Otherwise, they will still link to MDE and nothing will really be any different than if they were 2 different split stay reservations from the same DVC member, correct?

Since you are doing a split stay, changing rooms anyway, it probably would not present too many issues, other than as you said, having to deal with each owner for things like Magical express and/ or the dining plan if you want it for the reservation.

Nothing special that you need to worry about.

We have found that the more elements involved in anything, the greater the chance of something going wrong.

One reservation, one room, and you are dealing with will your room be ready, did you get your request, does your MB open the door, is the room clean, does it have maintenance issues, was your luggage delivered?

Move to another resort and the above is doubled.
