Renting iphones in the US

i just checked our trip cheat sheet to find the name of the company and that's it:

we rented two iphones with unlimited voice and data.

They have other plans, but that was what worked best for us.

They loaded the phone with the software we asked for.
Most importantly, skype, so that DH and DD could continue to make their international phone calls at very low cost (since the phones had unlimited data).

The phones were sent by courier to our resort hotel - they were waiting for us on arrival.

At the end of our trip, we had to take them to a fed ex office to ship them back.
I don't know how that works at WDW. Maybe they have a different arrangement for WDW.
But we used them in orlando, and then flew to New York for a few days.
We shipped the phones back to them from a fed ex office in new york.

you can check with them to find out how to ship it back from WDW.

We also knew the phone numbers before we boarded the plane to head for orlando - so we were able to give it out to the people who needed it before we left on our trip.

we also put our gmails onto the phone so that we could send and receive all of our email.

at the end, when we were finished with the phones, we just went into the phone settings and erased everything on the phone. i love doing that!!

oh and one more thing - since DH had his laptop with him, he used the iphone as a tether (hot spot) for his computer.
That way he didn't have to pay to use the hotels internet.

according to another thread, the disney hotels now offer free wifi - so you would be able to use your own smart phone -just make sure you have data roaming turned off!!
