Renting from National?

Last time I rented from National they used to have intermediate on up on EA. Now I understand it is only Inter cars on EA is this true? I want a full size car. But when I select it it says I have to go to the counter. I thought I could just go to the garage and take a full size car. Has this changed?

If you're a member of Emerald Club, if you want to be guaranteed a full-size car, you can request a full-size using Emerald Reserve. This is the same as Emerald Aisle, except you have only full-size cars to choose from and you check out after selecting your car. The Emerald Aisle is mostly intermediates, but they do sometimes have others - I lucked out and got a Buick Rendevous last spring, but sounds like nowadays, it's pretty much just intermediates.
