I know I read here a long time ago there was a place to rent baby equipment, cribs, swings etc. Well, I never in a million years thought we would need that address again (DS =13, DD=12) BUT SURPRISE we will need it for this trip as we have a new DD=3 months!!!! YIKES!! Can anyone tell me the address for this company?

I don't remember the name, but there's a thread I just read about this on the family or tips board. Check there, it's like a 4 letter abbreviation name and it's in the thread title.

Don't forget that all Disney resorts have free "cribs" for the asking - they are really playyards - but are suitable to use as a crib. I always hated the sheets that came with them (they never fit the playyard correctly). You can also try:
A Baby's best friend at :

Or baby's Away at:

Congrats on the new arrival- Jill

A Baby's Best Friend is the name of the company. You can get lots of reviews on the Disney for Families board.

It looks to be a great company and while I originally had planned to just use the pack n' plays that the resorts have available I am really considering renting a full size crib for DS. He will be almost 20 months for our trip and while he has slept in his pack n' play during visits to see family he has never had to sleep in one for 5 nights before. I think they are comfortable for a night or two but I think he would be more comfortable in a full size crib with a real mattress.

Hope this helps.... :)

We're in a similar boat - DS is 18! Our new addition will be 5 mos on our trip.

I ordered the crib and a stroller from A Baby's Best Friend - they come extremely highly recommended. They set up the crib in the room before you arrive. The porta cribs in Disney are the pack and play pens, and they aren't all that comfortable for someone who is used to a comfy, full-sized crib.
