Renting and Dining Plan

HI we have rented DVC points previously and loved it, but we recently went and tried the dining plan and loved that too. I think I read that you can now purchase the dining plan if you are renting DVC points. Is this true??? Do you need to buy tickets to go along with the dining plan, as you do when you book a package.

We are considering going in November for the first MVMCP and I thought I would like to rent DVC at WL. We have leftover hoppers so I don't really need the tickets, but I could purchase a day or two. Any suggestions?

Yes, you can purchase the dining plan with a DVC stay, but there is no ticket reiquirement with it as there is with the other WDW resorts.

If you are thinking of VWL for this coming Dec. you might be a bit late. VWL is the smallest DVC resort and is VERY popular for the holiday time. It will kind of depend on which size unit you are looking for.

Thanks! I am actually looking for a studio for the 12-15th of November. Do you think it is too late.

Studios will likely be the most difficult to get, but your timeframe is before Thanksgiving, so you never know until you try. Is the Christmas party going on that early???

Yes the first one is November 13th. I have never been so I better get on securing a studio somewhere. I don't have to stay at WL, but thought it would be a good time to try it. Thanks for the information! Hoping for some pixie dust!
