Renting a tux for a child?

I've checked the website and do not see any mention of children.. Is it possible to rent a tux for a young boy on DCL?

I had considered purchasing one, but would rather not deal with it.
I'm planning on my son and I both dressing up on formal night.. And would love the resulting photo.

5 Q. Do you rent tuxedos for children?

A. Tuxedos for children are only available on a pre-order basis for sailings from Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, and Port Canaveral. Formal wear for children is not available on board the ship for rentals or exchanges.

You might also want to check with your local Tux rental company. You'd have to bring it with you, but at least you could compare prices.

Does anyone knows how much it costs to rent a tuxedo for a child?

It was cheaper to buy on ebay even including the cost of local tailoring. Since I would have had to take him in to get measured for a rental anyway, it wasn't much more hassle, except I had to pack them. And we were able to get one more use out of the tux that year for a local event and then donated it to charity.

I strongly agree with Bella29 - the ebay cost was SO reasonable [almost too inexpensive] that I just sent the tuxes off to the laundry the first night of the cruise for pressing (also a wonderful tip) so careful packing was not needed...I was able to hem the pants myself but the formal night photos hang on the wall of my home...worth every penny now that my sons are grown!

I bought my son's off of Zulily a couple of years ago. I was very pleased. I was just looking at the website (I check every morning to see what they have new) and they have them today. They have all sizes and the full Tux is not very expensive. I looked into renting for my son a couple of years ago and it was more expensive than buying.
