renting a camper

Jayco 32bhds, double slide. Queen bed in front, kids room in rear with slide has single above outdoor kitchen, another single fold down bunk. Jcubes on floor can be a couch or fold out into queen bed. Or, during the day, we put the j cubes on the top bunk and the kids have the entire floor to play in their own room at the back of the camper. We have slept 8 without using dinette or sofa.

.

I own the same model. My DH has put as many as 6 adults in the camper to sleep. It was a big PITA having to fold up the couch and re-make the dinette every day. It was tight on cold nights and not everyone can sit at the table. (4 adults but 6 even with kids is really tight)

Travel trailers are great for families if you can get the kids OUTSIDE. That said utilize your outdoor space to your full advantage. If the kids are sitting inside watching tv then space is at a premium. If you're trying to cook they are right there, in the kitchen, Getting a unit with slide-outs is important although I can't imagine there are too many newer units out there without some type of slide.

Ok, this one is easily identified as a rental! When our friends rented from Florida Camper Rental, they got a 5th wheel that had no markings or advertisements at all. Their unit just blended in as "another camper".
That's the way it should be. I get they want to advertise, but I think a better choice might be on just the "Tail" end of the camper/TT/5ER.

or at least the emotional trauma of being startled by the site of it.
That's the kind of camper that if I had next to me, I'd want to install a privacy fence.

They look really good pardon me for intruding on thread. Do the Fort Wilderness packages include the Disney Pitch fee that bit on their website isn't clear to me. Thanks.

The prices for a rental unit are in addition to your campsite fees that you pay to Disney. Most of the rental companies have their set up fee's included in the rental price, for setup and take down.

Thank you that is useful.

To give an idea of the cost....we just rented from Greenberg. New unit with sleeping for 10???? There are four adults and two toddlers in our group. We are paying 1300 total for the week, plus 600 something for the campsite. It came out to be about 500 less than our AoA suite for the same time. No discounts.

What is the square footage of an AoA suite ??

We have used Florida Camper Rental for the past 2 years. The RV was set up for us when we arrived with the AC on and tv's also. We felt right at home. Had the 1400 loop twice and it was a great location. We would definitely rent from them again.
