Rented points--SSR--how do we get ME?

We rented points privately from someone we met on this message board and have reservations for SSR in Oct. Does anyone know if we will get a welcome packet with the luggage tags and ME info? We are arriving late (9:30 pmish) on Continental.

I believe that you need to have the owner of the points set this up with member services.

Check out the DVC board and ask there. They know all when it comes to DVC.

That is correct. Last October we had to let the person we rented from know all of our information to arrange ME for us.

The member you rented from has to call DVC member services and request ME for you. You'll need to send the member names and flight information for everyone using ME, and they'll hook you up. Then you'll receive your welcome packet in the mail just as if you had book a "normal" room through Disney.
