Rental Counter or baggage claim?

This may seem like a silly question, but it's the first time I've rented a car so.....

When we arrive at MCO, do we go to baggage claim first, or to Alamo's rental counter first?

Hi,
You'll first claim your luggage on Level 2, then go down to Level 1 to the rental counters.

AS long as you have not booked using QS or Online Check-in, you will indeed have to go to the terminal counter.
In that situation what we do is.....I go down to the counter myself after coming off the plane while my DW,DD and DS wait for and pick up the cases.
This saves a bit of time .
