We are renting a one-way car from Budget from MCO to the port and stayingat a hotel the night before at Cocoa Beach. What are wait times like from the car rental office to port and how early should we get to Budget to return the car and get to port early?
Thanks!

We've done this several times, and have never had to wait more than 10 - 15 minutes for the shuttle from the office to the port. When we cruised this past April, they had two vans running and the wait was very short. If you want to get to the port when it opens (10:00) I would suggest dropping off the car around 9:30 or so.

Thanks for the info! We are planning on getting there early just incase there is some line but glad to know we dont have to wait to long.Do they drop you off at the same spot where DCL buses drop off?

We have rented from Budget four times and the shuttle bus wait had never been more than 5 minutes. They are also efficient with the entire return process.

They drop you off in the general drop-off/pick-up area which is not where the DCL buses are. There are lots of porters to take your checked bags. A few feet away will be checkpoints to check your ID against the passenger list and you're a short walk (30 yards or so) from the entrance to the terminal building.

Weird, I talked to Budget today, they said they do not have a shuttle to the port, that is why we went with dollar???

Ive used them 8 years in a row and never waited more than 10 minutes for a shuttle ride to the port.

Dont know why you were told that, but Id call back. Im using Budget in Feb and plan on using their shuttle.

We used their Shuttle in September. Unless they've stopped it in the last two months, they have a free shuttle and some of the friendliest bus drivers we've encountered.
